Award-winning family portrait photography by Chandrasekhar Singh
Our Ethos
Every frame we create carries a piece of history — inspired by love, patience, and 34 years of listening to families.
Founded by National Geographic Award–winner Chandrasekhar Singh, Mihira carries a lineage of storytelling born from his father's literary pen name. Every portrait honors that tradition.
We don't chase perfection — we chase the real. The laugh that surprises. The glance that lingers. The moment a family forgets the camera and remembers each other.
Over 200 families every year trust us with their most precious moments. Father of two, grandfather of two — Chandrasekhar understands family because he lives it.
Why It Matters
"It's that one second when a family forgets the camera — and remembers each other."
A family group photograph is more than a picture — it's a preserved moment of togetherness that can never be recreated. Families grow, change, and sometimes drift apart. But in one frame, everyone is together again.
These portraits become historical markers. Future generations can look back and see how their ancestors looked, how people dressed, who was part of the family lineage. They become priceless anchors between the past and the future.
Passed down from generation to generation, a family photograph becomes a visual heirloom — carrying meaning long after individuals are gone.
